a life without certainties
to observe, think, learn, and to grow;
perhaps, to discover our destiny…
takes us to an exciting journey of
knowing the unknown and beyond!
risks… assured enough to face;
but, it’s the belief and spirit;
which says, go ahead…
a game that we lose… or a game
we win… not life!
defeating others, taking over,
getting randomly fooled…
it’s all in the game!
a support that we need, comes,
when we are ready to give…
that we give, is what we get!
alas! greed and unkind… is around;
let’s do our bit… for all of us!
time without end and work hard,
bring the difference and see,
earn the respect… to create life,
try out extremes, and impact more,
one among others and survive,
feel the bit, be contented!
let’s not regret one day
saying we did not try! giving!
in spite of having everything in life,
one day, we may get crash landed anyway!

Daniel Dennett, one of the most prolific and widely read philosopher states that "life is a meaningless purposeless algorithm."
We have to construct meaning and purpose by our own thoughts and actions. Otherwise we will become disciples of the life denigrating ideas contained in the Early Upanishads.
Life is a precious finite gift. From the time one is born to the time one is gone, we have to give back. The gift of life takes form only when we acknowledge what we have received and attempt to give back what we can.

Our life is incomplete without giving back what we have got.Though this is in all kinds of books and scriptures, we willingly forget them and rare are the people who practice it. It is important that we people realise this and bring it to reality before we disappear from this world (probably abruptly!).

This is a universal truth, great leaders became great because they tried inspite of the difficulties they faced.
This reminds me a poem which we had in primary school about life of a Lotus flower and an Oak tree.
